Principal RF Engineer
Rayspan Corporation has a full-time position opening for Principal RF Engineer at our San Diego, California office. Position requires an MS in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 8 years experience with LTCC RF design.
Position Requirements
The Principal RF Engineer will serve an essential role in the Advanced Technology Group of Rayspan’s R&D Department. He will implement our proprietary Metamaterial technology in the design and development of breakthrough RF front-end components and sub-systems for high performance wireless communications, in particular passive RF functionalities using LTCC technologies. This will include: Working with Rayspan’s Metamaterial core team to identify key benefits of the technology and the best approaches to design and implementation; Analyzing optimum LTCC foundry and design approaches; Identifying and quantifying Metamaterial-based RF Front-End performance metrics; Design and development of proof-of-concept Metamaterial-based RF Front-Ends and sub-systems; Build internal LTCC design library tools; Must be flexible, innovative and have the ability to prioritize in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
