

Gregory brings a broad base of telecommunications expertise, bridging technology development, marketing, sales and customer support, and business operations. Before joining Rayspan, he served as Director of Advanced Development and Product Definition for Kyocera handset business. His responsibilities spanned from simple component development to platform definition and demonstration. Gregory joined Kyocera in 2003 as Senior Manager of the antenna group, and he led the development of Kyocera's first internal antenna phone, with performance equal to that of external antenna phones.
Previously, Gregory was a co-founder of Ethertronics, a VC-funded antenna startup in San Diego. At Ethertronics, he co-led their antenna technology development, established their application engineering group, and interfaced with customers around the world.
Gregory's academic credentials include a PhD in telecommunications from the University of Rennes, and an MBA from the Wharton School. After he was awarded his PhD, he served as a research engineer in wireless communications at CNRS (Lab Antennes et Telecommunications, France), and then moved to the US and became a Research Fellow in the Electrical Engineering Department at UCLA.
